Meeting Location

An interesting thought occured to me. How about pawn off the duty to find a better meeting location on some volunteer out there.

So, what are we looking for in a meeting location.

 

  • Location
    • Centrally located (New Orleans or Metairie preferred)
    • Someplace safe
    • Someplace that doesn't charge for parking at night
    • Someplace that wants people there in the evenings and at night
  • Someplace with the following resources
    • TV (for old video style presentations)
    • Computer
    • Projector
    • Restroom facilities
    • Theatre style seating
    • Air Conditioning (I feel it is important)

I thought about UNO.  Does anyone have a contact at UNO,  perhaps in the Computer Science or Math department?  Jaime anyone?  Does anyone want to volunteer to take this project on?

Is GNONUG forum open to anyone interested or there is a formal membership process?

 

I am in Mnadeville, interested in joining GNONUG and contributing via different means.
