CodeNotes for C#

Posted by on Monday, March 15, 2004 (PST)

Review Completed by Mike York

codeNotes for C#
ISBN  0-8129-6646-5

"CodeNotes' philosophy is the core concepts of any technology can be presented succintly."  CodeNotes for C# delivers a concise, well-written overview of C# and the .Net Framework.  The authors assume the reader has understanding of basic programming and Object Oriented Programming concepts but not necessarily any knowledge of the .Net Framework.  "CodeNote Pointers" are liberaly sprinkled throughout the book for those times where topics are covered as completely as possible within the confines of the prescribed format and may require further discussion.  This book is not for you if you are the type of person that feels the need for 2000 page, 30 pound text.  But if you can appreciate a global overview of C# and the .Net Framework, a wealth of examples, hints, tricks, tips, and classroom style tutorials in just under 250 pages, you may find CodeNotes for C# a veritable bargain with a list price of $19.95 (currently available new for under $14.00.)
